The police family has been left in total shock after learning the death of Director Legal and Human Rights AIGP Charles Kataratambi. According to Police sources, AIGP Charles Kataratambi died today morning at Nakasero hospital in Kampala.
He has been battling with Cancer for a while. “Ever since President Museveni promoted him to AIGP and appointed him Director Legal and Human Rights, he has always been out of the Country for treatment,” Says a source from police legal department.
According to Police records, The deceased joined the Force in 2002 with the likes AIGP Grace Akullo the former Director of CID. He served in various departments in the police force. He served as Commander flying squad, Commender SIU, he worked in lands department among others. With his discipline, he managed to go through police ranks aupto the highest rank.
