COVID-19: 15 New Cases, Uganda’s Total Is Now 175

The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases out of the 2,106 tested on 22nd May,2020.

According the ministry, 12 cases are truck drivers while 3 cases are contacts to previously confirmed truck drivers who were under quarantine at the time of test.

23 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.

Out of the samples tested, 1,248 were from points of entry while 858 were from community and contacts.

Uganda now registers a total of 175 confirmed cases and 68 recoveries.
