The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases out of the 1,189 samples tested on 25th May, 2020.
9 cases were from the Points of Entry while 1 case is a contact to a previously confirmed truck driver.
According to the ministry, the contact was under quarantine at the time of test.
It adds that 30 positive foreign truck drivers were handed over to their country of origin.
Out of the samples tested, 1,037 were from Points of Entry while 152 samples from community and contacts.
Uganda now registers a total of 222 COVID-19 confirmed cases and 69 recoveries.
