Must read

This morning, Director of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), Tom Magambo, delivered a lecture to 1,114 secondary school teachers from Western Uganda who are attending a patriotism training course at Ntare School in Mbarara. The session was part of a broader effort to promote national pride, civic responsibility, and awareness among educators.

In his lecture, Director Magambo focused on the historical context of Uganda’s development journey, emphasizing the country’s strategic priorities and the role citizens play in shaping a prosperous future. He also highlighted the importance of patriotism, Pan-Africanism, strategic security, and socio-economic transformation as essential tools for building a stronger and more resilient nation.

Teachers were encouraged to take the lessons learned back to their schools and communities, becoming ambassadors of national development and pride. The event served as a platform for educators to understand how their roles extend beyond teaching, contributing to the broader mission of fostering responsible, patriotic, and empowered citizens in Uganda.
