The Uganda Police Force has officially released the final list of successful candidates who have been selected for recruitment as Probationer Police Constables (PPCs). This follows the public advertisement made on March 10, 2025, and a rigorous interview process held between April 28 and May 5, 2025. The candidates who made it through have been praised for their discipline, commitment, and performance throughout the selection stages.
All successful applicants are expected to report to their assigned Police Training Schools on July 07, 2025. The training will mark the beginning of their journey toward becoming full-fledged officers in the Uganda Police Force, a role that calls for integrity, courage, and dedication to serving the nation.
To ensure a smooth start, recruits have been instructed to carry several essential items when reporting. These include original and photocopies of academic documents, National ID, four passport-size photographs, and personal effects such as soap, towels, toothbrushes, and basic utensils. They must also bring beddings, sportswear, stationery, a mosquito net, and other supplies needed for daily use during training.
Each candidate must have a 3×6 mattress (maximum 4 inches thick), a pair of gumboots, canvas shoes, a tracksuit, T-shirts for exercise, and at least four pairs of thick cotton stockings. Also required are counter books, blue pens, bed sheets, and basic hygiene supplies, including toilet paper and sanitary pads for ladies.
The Police Force has congratulated all the successful candidates and urged them to prepare both mentally and physically for the training ahead. This milestone is not just a personal achievement for the new recruits but also a proud moment for their families and communities.
The full list of selected candidates can be accessed from the UPDF website
As the country looks to strengthen its law enforcement and public safety, these new recruits will soon be part of the team that keeps Uganda safe. The Uganda Police Force wishes them the very best in this new and honorable journey.
