The Electoral commission of Uganda has called upon all Ugandans to Check their name on the list of persons recommended for removal from the Voters Register.
The commission says that If the person is wrongly listed, can raise an objection at his or her Parish/Ward Headquarters between 16th–26th May 2025.
According to the electoral body, this exercise is part of its effort to ensure a clean and accurate National Voters Register.
This comes after the electoral commission had just concluded the National Voter Register Display exercise that Started on April 25, 2025 and 15th May 2025.
This is in preparation of the 2025-2026 general elections with a call to all participants to uphold integrity, respect outcomes, and keep voters safe.
