President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, speaking at Pajule Primary School, urged leaders and public servants to prioritize key projects as a path to national development. He noted that attempting to tackle everything at once often leads to underdevelopment and poor results. Instead, he emphasized that clear priorities ensure that resources and efforts yield meaningful progress.
The President highlighted the government’s focus on essential infrastructures, including roads, health facilities, schools, and electricity. He explained that these areas form the backbone of Uganda’s development, creating opportunities for better education, improved health services, and easier transportation for citizens.
Museveni stressed that prioritization is critical not only for economic growth but also for sustaining the gains the country has already achieved. Leaders must focus on high-impact initiatives rather than spreading resources too thin across multiple projects.
He also encouraged public servants to adopt the same principle in their work, noting that concentrating efforts on the most pressing issues ensures faster and more sustainable development. According to the President, this approach is what has allowed his government to deliver visible results across the country.
