The inspector general of police Abas Byakagaba has called upon police officer to go back to their respective units and spread a message of financial empowerment.
The IGP was addressing delegates of exodus SACCO at their 12th annual general meeting held at the police headquarters Naguru.
“I encourage all delegates present today to go back to their respective units and preach the message of financial empowerment. Let every police officer appreciate that financial success starts with a single step-saving regularly and borrowing wisely. Let us stand together and build Exodus SACCO ltd that is not only strong and stable but also one that supports the long-term aspirations of its members”. Said IGP.
The Director Crime Intelligence AIGP Christopher Damulira said that,
the SACCO provides a safety net that protects to officers from financial storm and gives them the power to plan, prepare and prosper as they determine their financial destiny.
At the same function, AIGP Damulira was honored by IGP and the leadership of Police Exodus SACCO for his relentless efforts to mobilize police officers under his Directorate and the entire force to save under Exodus for the officers’ financial security and wellbeing.

AIGP Wasswa David Ssengendo was honored the highest saver of the year.
