Indian National Linked To Hoima Sugar Factory Theft.

Police in Hoima have arrested an Indian suspected to break into Hoima Sugar Factory. According to Police,k-9 unit received calls from both RPC and DPC Kikuube Central Police Station to go and attend a scene of office breaking and theft of cash at Hoima sugar factory (Kiswaza).

Upon reaching, they found when the scene was well cordoned and preserved.

 Police Constable Bahati introduced the police dog Parry at the scent bed and the dog picked the scent that sparked into a search .

 The dog tracked for a distance of about 400 metres and led Police to the room where one Indian resides and alerted there.

 The search was conducted by the D/SOCO, D/CID and shs. 21 million was recovered and suspect was identified and handed over to the district CID for further investigation.
