Masaka Woman MP flag bearer, Justine Nameere, has finally spoken out after reports emerged that she was summoned by police over allegations of assaulting presidential advisor Jennifer Nakangubi, popularly known as Full Figure. The news caused a heated debate online, with many people waiting for Nameere’s version of events.
Taking to her social media accounts, Nameere strongly denied the accusations. She said she was being unfairly dragged into a personal conflict and accused Full Figure of making false claims. According to Nameere, this is not the first time her rival has been involved in disputes, but she is now being targeted as the latest victim. Nameere claimed that Full Figure first told police that she hired people to attack her and even claimed she was stabbed several times. Later, the story changed to allege that Nameere’s husband was involved. Nameere insisted that these accusations were fabricated and that she was wrongly pulled into the saga.
She also called on the police to investigate the situation more deeply. Nameere argued that Full Figure has a long history of conflicts and that multiple complaints have been filed against her in the past, but most were never resolved. She urged the authorities to look into the bigger picture rather than focusing only on her. Nameere even made a direct appeal to the Inspector General of Police, asking him to pay special attention to all cases reported against Full Figure.
In addition, Nameere addressed a circulating audio clip that allegedly linked her to the assault. She claimed that the voice in the recording was not hers and had been manipulated using artificial intelligence, calling it a deliberate attempt to discredit her reputation and political ambitions.
So far, the police have not released an official statement about the investigation. Meanwhile, the story has captured public attention, leaving many people divided over who is telling the truth. Until the authorities conclude their investigation, the controversy between Justine Nameere and Full Figure continues to be one of the most talked-about issues in Uganda’s political and celebrity circles.
