The sudden death of Patricia, a sex worker residing in Kasenge, Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District, has shocked the local community. The incident occurred on September 9, 2025, under circumstances that have left many questions unanswered. Patricia was last seen with Muwonge Godi, also known as Kabaka Aperu, at Sanyuka Lodge, where they had booked a room early on September 7, 2025, paying Shs 10,000 for their stay. The two were reportedly going out drinking and returning to the lodge in the mornings to rest.
On the morning of September 9, Patricia returned to the lodge around 9 am, heavily intoxicated and unable to enter the room. Muwonge Godi reportedly attempted to help her by buying milk, but tragically, Patricia was later found dead. Alarmingly, Muwonge Godi fled the scene, raising concerns about his involvement or knowledge of what had occurred.
Police from Nsangi Division were promptly notified. They examined the scene, recorded statements from witnesses, and recovered the milk container that may hold clues to the incident. Patricia’s body was taken to the city mortuary for a postmortem examination, which authorities hope will reveal the cause of her sudden death.
Nsangi Police Division has since opened a death enquiry file to investigate the circumstances surrounding Patricia’s passing. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward, as the case continues to unfold and the community awaits answers.
