Kansanga Security Guard Beheaded!! Police Arrest Prime Suspect in Shocking Murder

The police have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of the brutal murder of Epodoi Moses, a 32-year-old security guard working for Corporate Security Limited, who was found dead at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kansanga on 29th October 2025. According to authorities, Moses was on duty at the church gate when he was violently attacked and beheaded by a suspect reportedly known to some church members.

A team of police officers quickly visited the scene to secure and process evidence, recovering several items for forensic analysis. Their work led to an intelligence-led operation on 30th October 2025, resulting in the arrest of the prime suspect, Alimu Caleb, at Ggaba Landing Site. Police confirmed that Caleb has confessed to the murder and is cooperating by revealing the locations where he hid the victim’s head and the knife used in the attack.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination, while investigations continue to determine the motive behind the shocking crime. Authorities have expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation and urged citizens to remain vigilant as inquiries progress.

ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, emphasized that the police are committed to ensuring justice is served in this gruesome case, reassuring the public that all leads are being thoroughly pursued.
