The electoral commission of Uganda is mandated to organize, conduct and supervise regular, free and fair election and referenda.
In fulfilling this mandate, the commission is conducting the nationwide Voters Register Display exercise the is running up to 15th May 2025.
During this exercise, the voter has to check that his or her name is spelt correctly as welas being registered at the correct parish.
The voter has also to report anyone deceased or under 18 years of age and confirm their respective photos on the register.
The electoral commission is currently encouraging voters to visit their designated display centre in person before 15 May 2025 with the register for special interest group committees ending tomorrow May 8, 2025.
This exercise starts at 8:00am to 6:00pm daily including weekends.
