Ugandans are storming their respective polling stations to verify their details just nine days to the end of the exercise scheduled 15th May 2025.
This exercise commenced on 25th April with the aim of validating a voter’s details using Voter Number, NIN, or Application Identity.
The purpose of the Display exercise is to clean the register before polling.
It also allows the public to report such issues like names of deceased persons appearing on the register.
The exercise which starts at 8:am to 6:pm daily has registered a positive response with residents visiting their respective polling stations to confirm that they verify their voter details.
However, those who can not make it to the polling station, can also check their details online: ec.or.ug/register.
The Commission further calls on the public to go and check the National Voters Register in these remaining days.
