COVID-19: Uganda Registers Nine New Deaths, 197 Test Positive as Total Hits 18,165

Uganda has registered nine (9) new COVID19 deaths today bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to 197.

According to the health ministry, the 9 new deaths were reported among previously confirmed cases following investigations. However, the deaths occurred over a period of time.

The ministry has also registered 197 new COVID19 cases from the tests done on 22 November 2020.

All the 197 confirmed cases are contacts and alerts from Kampala (104), Sironko (20), Soroti (11), Kasese (13), Kisoro (7), Isingiro (7), Manafwa (4), Buyende (5), Mbale (3), Kyenjojo (4), Tororo (2), Bulambuli (2), Bududa (2), Jinja (2),Busia (2), Hoima (2), Ntungamo (2), Masaka (2), Kayunga (1), Kalungu (1), Kagadi (1), Amudat (1), and Kamwenge (1) districts.

Todate Uganda records a cumulative total of 18,165 confirmed cases and 8,675 recoveries.
