COVID-19: Uganda Registers 112 New Cases as Total Shoots to 8,129

The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 112 new COVID19 cases from the samples tested on 29th September, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 109 are contacts and alerts from Namisindwa (16), Pader (12), Gulu (16), Koboko (18), Tororo (6), Kampala (8), Karenga (8), Adjumani (3), Amudat (11), Arua (3), Masaka (2), Amuru (3), Mbale (1) and Moyo (2) districts.

The other cases include two (2)  returnees who arrived  from South Sudan and one (1) truck driver who arrived via Elegu point of entry.

To date, Uganda registers a total of 8,129 confirmed COVID19 cases, 4,260 recoveries and seventy five (75) deaths.
