COVID-19: Uganda Registers 146 New Cases, Total Rises to 7,364

The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 146 new COVID-19 cases from  tests done on 25 September,2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 133 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (51), Namisindwa (13), Arua (12), Mityana (10), Tororo (7), Busia (5), Kitgum (5), Mbale (5), Nwoya (5), Wakiso (5), Gulu (3), Bukwo (4), Jinja (2), Karenga (2), Lira (1), Luwero (1), Soroti (1) and Yumbe (1) districts.

Other cases include seven (7) truck drivers 6 of whom arrived Malaba and 1 via Busia points of entry and six (6) returnees including 4 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Malawi and 1 from South Sudan.

Todate, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 7,364 confirmed cases, 3,647 recoveries and seventy one (71) deaths.
