COVID-19: Uganda Registers 182 New Cases as Total Shoots Up to 9,442

The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 182 new COVID19 cases from the samples tested on 7th October, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 177 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (110), Gulu (10), Moyo (9), Gomba (6), Koboko (5), Wakiso (7), Moroto (4), Soroti (4), Yumbe (4), Amuru (3), Kotido (3), Buvuma (2), Arua (1), Dokolo (1), Katakwi (1), Lamwo (1), Luwero (1), Maracha (1), Nabilatuk (1), Obongi (1), Kaberamaido (1) and Adjumani (1) districts.

The other cases include four (4) returnees from Saudi Arabia (1), Qatar (1), Oman (1), South Sudan (1) and one (1) truck driver who arrived via Mutukula Point of Entry.

To date, Uganda registers a total of 9,442 confirmed COVID19 cases, 5,781 recoveries and eighty five (85) deaths.
