COVID-19: Uganda Registers New Two Deaths, 117 Test Positive as Total Shoots up to 9,082

Uganda has registered two (2) new COVID19 deaths today from Amuru and Arua bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to eighty four (84).

The ministry of health Uganda has also confirmed 117 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 5th October, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 114 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (80), Pader (12), Sironko (6), Mbale (5), Arua (4), Amuru (2), Busia (1), Gulu (2), Masindi (1) and Tororo (1) districts.

The other three (3) cases are truck drivers who arrived via Malaba point of entry.

Currently, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 9,082 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 5,457  recoveries and eighty four (84) COVID19 deaths.
