COVID-19: Uganda Registers Two New Deaths, 228 Test Positive 

Uganda has registered two (2) new COVID19 deaths from Sironko district bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to 114.

In the same vein, the ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 228 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 1st November, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 227 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (126), Buikwe (21), Wakiso (12),Soroti (8), Mityana (7), Mbale (6), Kasese (6), Isingiro (6), Mayuge (6), Jinja (11), Busia (5), Ntungamo (2), Kabarole (2), Kamuli (1), Bundibugyo (1), Masaka (1), Kaberamaido (1), Tororo (1), Moroto (1), Nebbi (1), Kibuku (1), and Luwero (1) districts.

The other one case is a truck driver who arrived via Malaba point of entry.

Currently, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 12,971 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 7,556 recoveries and 114 COVID19 deaths.
