COVID-19: Uganda Registers Two New Deaths, 434 Test Positive as Total Rises to 12,201

Uganda has registered two (2) new COVID19 deaths from Yumbe district bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to 108.

In the same vein, the ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 434 new COVID-19 cases from samples tested on 28th October, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 430 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (94), Kiryandongo (50), Gulu (38), Nebbi (35), Arua (30), Obongi (30), Wakiso (19), Moyo (23), Mbarara (14), Terego (13), Adjumani (12), Yumbe (17), Iganga (6), Masaka (5), Pader (5), Mukono (4), Rubanda (4),  Jinja (3), Kyotera (3), Bugiri (2), Bukomansimbi (2), Hoima (2), Kabale (2), Kabarole (2), Kasese (2), Koboko (2), Luwero (2), Maracha (2), Amuru (1), Buikwe (1), Bunyangabu (1), Buvuma (1), Kiboga (1), Ntungamo (1), and Rubirizi (1) districts.

The other cases include two (2) returnees from South Sudan and two (2) truck drivers who arrived from Lia (1) and Elegu (1)

Currently, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 12,201 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 7,461 recoveries and 108 COVID19 deaths.
