COVID19: Uganda Registers Two More Deaths, 145 New Cases, as Total Hit 5,123

Uganda has registered two (2) COVID19 deaths from Kampala and Jinja bringing the total number of COVID19 deaths to fifty eight (58).

The ministry of health Uganda has also confirmed 145 new COVID-19 cases from 2,003 samples tested on 14th September, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 128 are alerts and contacts including 52 from Pader, 11 from Kampala, 9 from Lamwo, 7 from Amuru, 8 from Gulu, 8 from Mbale , 6 from Lira, 4 from Omoro, 3 from Kikuube, 3 from Namayingo, 2 from Iganga, 4 from Oyam, 1 from Arua, 1 from Bududa , 1 from Jinja, 1 from  Kapchorwa , 1 from Kiryandongo, 1 from Kisoro, 1 from Nyora, 2 from Nyowa, 1 from Wakiso and 1 from Zombo.

The other seventeen (17) cases are returnees 10 of whom arrived from South Sudan while the other 7 returned from India.

To date, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 5,123 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 2,333 recoveries and fifty eight (58) COVID19 deaths.
