The minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon Judith Nabakooba has today been nominated as the NRM flag bearer for Woman Member of Parliament Mityana District for the forth coming 2021 elections.
The minister shared the news via her social media accounts “I have been dully nominated to contest for Woman Member of Parliament Mityana District come 2021.” She wrote.

Nabakooba vowed that she will keep fighting for common people of Mityana when voted again in parliament.
She won the NRM party primaries in Mityana district with a high margin after she got 35,500 votes beating her sole challenger Deborah Kyazike Kinobe who got 5,557 votes.
While reacting to this victory, the minister said it is an indicator that her role in parliament has been appreciated. She added that the win was a vote of confidence, shared victory and a renewal of her commitment to improve service delivery to the people of Mityana district.
