Ministry of Health Bans Condolence Books on Burials

The Ministry of Health has stopped bereaved families and funeral service companies from handing out condolence books at homes or other places of mourning.

This is because research has shown that the Coronavirus lasts on surfaces such as paper for 5days therefore the condolence and sign in books provided by the families and funeral services can increase the spread of the virus.

The Ministry strongly urges the public to stop signing in these books and also the funeral service companies to stop availing them to the mourners.
