Newly Introduced Tooro Princess Dies of COVID19

Princess Amooti Ruth Kugonza commonly known as Aunt Cox, a 62 year old woman who recently introduced her 25 year old lover to her parents has succumbed to COVID19.

The sad news of her death was confirmed by her cousin Journalist Andrew Mwenda and Margaret Muhanga the MP for Burahya in Kabarole district through their social media pages.

“On Sunday, we lost a cousin, Margaret, to #COVID19. This morning we have just lost yet another cousin, Cox, to Covid. Covid is real and it is lethal. Avoid large social gatherings, socially distance and wear your mask at all times in public and sanitize all the time!” he said.

“With deepest sorrow I announce the death of my childhood friend Princess Amooti Ruth Kugonza commonly known as aunt Cox. She passed on this morning in Mulago after we evacuated her from FP with breathing problems. We’ve been together in everything since time in memory.” MP Margaret Muhanga tweeted.

According to Margaret, Princess Kugonza got breathing problems over the weekend and she was evacuated from Fortportal to Mulago hospital today morning where she died from.

The deceased was a member of Tooro Kingdom royal family who introduced her lover Larry Richard Abaala aged 25 to her parents in October 2020.

Their introduction ceremony  took place at her house located at Harukoto behind the Kingdom palace in Fort Portal, Kabarole district.
