NUP Confirms 3rd Nov as Nomination date for Robert Kyagulanyi

The National Unit Platform Party (NUP) has confirmed November 3rd 2020, as the date for the nomination of Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine as their presidential flag bearer for the 2021 general elections.

“Our party President Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert  will be officially nominated as a Presidential Candidate on 3rd/11/2020 at 11:00 AM.” NUP shared the news through its social media platforms.

This comes a few days after Kyagulanyi reported that he had lost his presidential nomination forms which included at least seven million signatures that were endorsing his presidential bid in a security raid by Police and Military at the NUP headquarters last week.

However, NUP members activated their mobilizers country wide to start collecting new signatures which they managed get 33,000 signatures in two days from 109 districts beating the Electoral Commission deadline.
