Police in kampala City have conducted an operation that has resulted into arrest of 42 suspected robbers and marijuana smokers.
A joint police and local leader operation conducted On April 8, 2025, between 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m, targeted crime hotspots in Nakivubo channels, New Taxi Park, Namayiba Bus Park, and Namungona near the Northern Bypass.
The operation focused on thugs involved in robberies and marijuana smokers.
- 42 suspects were arrested and detained pending court proceedings as Exhibits were recovered from various hideouts.
