The Inspector General of Police has met with the Uganda Private Security Association (TUPSA), the umbrella body of Private Security Organizations(PSOs) at Police Headquarters Naguru.
The meeting aimed to explore ways to enhance strategic partnership, with IGP Byakagaba emphasizing that PSOs are a “force multiplier” that should align with national policing priorities and security frameworks, including the Sub-County Policing Model
TUPSA Chairperson Moses Matsiko has commended the IGP’s efforts and called for more engagement with top police management.
The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including Deputy Inspector General of Police Ocaya, Director Operations AIGP Frank Mwesigwa and Deputy Director Operations Simon Peter Okoshi.
