Alice Namulwa Mukasa the mother of the late Hon Cerinah Nebanda has told Hon Nantaba to retract her statements alleging that she talked to her in regard to assassination allegations or else she takes her to court.

“I have never in my life telephoned her, neither have I ever had any connection dealings with her whatsoever,” Namulwa said in her petition.
Namulwa, the mother to the late Nebanda has given Hon Nantaba up to 28th Tuesday next week to have withdrawn her statement which will be done on the floor of parliament, in papers and other platforms adding that she has already contacted her family lawyers to drag her to court.
Nantaba while in parliament on Tuesday said that she was notified of a plan to assassinate her by late Hon Cerinah’s mother whose daughter died in 2012.
“I received a phone call from Cerinah Nebanda’s mother. She told me honorable, you are going to be killed by the same person who killed my daughter. I was shocked because I didn’t know where she had got my number,” Nantaba said.
Hon Natamba added that Nebanda’s mother said that she should go to her home to get the details about her killers.
“I didn’t take it seriously but shared it with somebody, and I told her I would still come and get more information but didn’t go there.” Nantaba told parliament on Tuesday.
The legislator told the parliament that the people who were behind the plot to kill Nebanda are now after her life.
