Three police officers have survived a serious accident that has occurred at Kyengera Town along the Kampala-Masaka road.
A speeding white Mercedes-Benz reg. no. UAM 348M collided with a 999 police patrol car (reg. no. UP 00007) that was moving slowly in traffic.
Three police officers – PC Ssekabira Hamuza, PC Mulega Stephen, and PC Yeko Joshua – sustained injuries and received first aid at Devine Doctor Medical Center in Kyengera.
Ssekabira was later transferred to Mulago Hospital for further treatment.
SSP Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan said, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz appeared to be intoxicated and will undergo a breathalyzer test by traffic officers.
