More shocking details have continued to emerge on the detained former CID Spokesperson Charles Twiine as Security have gotten information that he was connected to exiled opposition activist Kakwenza and anti-government blogger Lumbuye, Spyreports has exclusively learnt.
Twiine, who is believed to be in the hands of security, has been missing for several weeks after meeting IGP Abbas Byakagaba at police headquarters in Naguru.
Recently, we reported how security got information how Twiine has been leaking confidential information to people against the government that resulted to his arrest.
The latest which we have obtained from reliable security sources say, he has been leaked with Kakwenza and Lumbuye which is so dangerous to him if proved right.
According to a top security source, some months ago, it is alleged that Kakwenza shared a video with Twiine and he promised to spread it widely. Sources say, Twiine allegedly talked with Kakwenza to halt it as it could cause him problems and make him lose his Parliament juicy job. According to sources, Twiine allegedly paid some millions of shillings to Kakweza to seal the deal. Other sources say, security got to know how Twiine also communicated with Lumbuye, however details of their communication were not availed to us.
Meanwhile, last night a team of Counter Terrorism officers and CID stormed and searched his house in Kasangati. According to his wife, Twiine was brought at around 6:00 pm fully guarded with CT officers and others in plain cloth. “He came and I only greeted him but I was not allowed to talk to him. Our house was searched and when I asked them where they were taking him, they told me Kira road police,” she says. She added that nothing was taken.
