Police in Naggalama are investigating a heartbreaking case of murder and robbery that took place in the early hours of June 12, 2025. The incident happened at around 2:00 am at Nkonge Captain Night Bar, located in Kyampisi sub-county, Mukono District. The victim, Agaba Simon, was just 18 years old and worked as a cleaner at the bar. Sadly, he was shot dead by unknown robbers during the violent attack.
According to reports, a group of armed men stormed the bar and demanded money from the workers. While the employees were still in shock, Agaba Simon attempted to call the bar owner. It was at that moment that one of the robbers shot him. The criminals then made off with mobile phones, personal items, and an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived shortly after the attack, documented the scene, and transported Simon’s body to Kayunga Hospital Mortuary for a post-mortem examination. Bar maids who witnessed the attack have given statements, and investigations are now underway to track down the suspects behind this cruel act.
The community is in shock over the brutal killing of a young man who was simply trying to earn a living. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation. Police have promised to do everything possible to bring the attackers to justice
