Uganda’s classrooms are getting a major upgrade thanks to UCC. From September 1–5, 2025, the #DECEDA project, powered by @UCC_Official’s UCUSAF initiative, launched Phase II of a digital education transformation. This project is changing the way children learn by moving lessons from dusty blackboards and old textbooks to interactive online platforms.
Teachers like Simon from West Nile are at the forefront, turning English, Math, and Science lessons for Primary 5 and 6 students into engaging online experiences. This isn’t just about eLearning—it’s about ensuring that every child can access quality education in a world moving rapidly into the digital age.
The project brought together teachers and Curriculum Coordinating Teachers (CCTs) from 31 schools. They collaborated to map content and master digital tools, creating lessons that are not only accessible but also interactive and inspiring.
UCC is helping build a future where learning is inclusive, digital, and always available. With initiatives like #DECEDA, students across Uganda can now enjoy education that keeps pace with technology, preparing them for a brighter, more connected future.
