The Electoral Commission on Monday morning held an important meeting with a high-level delegation from the Joint African Union (AU), COMESA, and IGAD Election Observation Mission ahead of the 2026 General Elections. The delegation was led by former Nigerian President, H.E. Goodluck Jonathan, who is heading the mission tasked with observing and assessing the country’s electoral process.
During the meeting, the Electoral Commission briefed the observers on the country’s electoral roadmap, clearly outlining the key stages leading to the 2026 polls.
