Dear fellow Ugandans,
“This is it.”
I, Hon. Princess Persis Namuganza, Bukono County MP-elect and aspirant for Speaker of the 12th Parliament, write with profound gratitude and renewed hope.
Today, the voice of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has thundered once again in defence of our nation. His powerful words ” rejecting personal luxury and declaring that our sacred duty is to SERVE Ugandans, not ourselves” have sent a clear and uncompromising message: I cannot support corruption! After risking his life to bring peace to this country, he will not allow it to be stolen by thieves. Never!
I am deeply grateful that so many bold voices are now rising against the cancer of corruption, especially within Parliament. For years I have stood alone on this battlefield, fighting even when others remained silent or chose comfort in the shadows. Today, I rejoice because our collective prayers are finally being answered. We are not too far from the change we have longed for.
This is the moment. This is the turning point.
I therefore call upon every Ugandan, Honourable Members of Parliament, public officials, the youth, the elders, professionals, and all patriots across the land to speak up loudly and without fear. Let your voices join this growing chorus. Let us unite as one unstoppable force to root out this vice once and for all.
Corruption has no place in the 12th Parliament. It has no place in our government. It has no place in the Uganda our liberators sacrificed for.
Together, hand in hand with our President and all who love this motherland, we shall defeat corruption and restore the dignity, integrity and greatness of our beloved Uganda.
God bless Uganda.
God bless His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.
God bless the patriotic sons and daughters who refuse to stay silent.
With unbreakable resolve and eternal gratitude,
Hon. Princess Persis Namuganza
Bukono County MP-elect & Aspirant for Speaker of the 12th Parliament
