In the same announcement, Brigadier General James Kinalwa was promoted to Major General. He is the current head of Joint Staff Human Resource Management, overseeing personnel affairs within the UPDF. Maj. Gen. Kinalwa is also recognized as one of the longest-serving officers in the force. His decades of commitment and professionalism have contributed significantly to the growth and discipline of Uganda’s armed forces.
