Support the Struggle!! NUP to Begin Campaign Fundraising on Monday For The 2026 Elections

Must read

The National Unity Platform (NUP) is getting ready to take a big step in preparing for the upcoming elections. Starting Monday next week, the party will begin receiving contributions from supporters and well-wishers across the country and beyond. This announcement was made by NUP’s Secretary General, David Lewis Rubongoya.

“We are going to launch fundraising for the election campaign next week,” Rubongoya said, calling on all those who support change in Uganda to stand with NUP as it gets ready to face the tough road ahead. He explained that election campaigns require a lot of money, but the fundraising will be completely voluntary. No one is forced to give but every contribution, big or small, will count.

Rubongoya reminded Ugandans that real change does not come cheap. From organizing rallies to printing posters, transporting candidates, and getting the message of freedom and justice across the country it all takes money. That’s why the party is turning to the people who believe in the cause: the supporters who have stood by NUP through thick and thin.

The fundraising drive is not just about money. It is also a way to unite and energize supporters as the country moves closer to the election period. Rubongoya’s call is simple: if you believe in the struggle for a better Uganda, this is your chance to be part of it in a practical way.

The message is clear People Power means people involvement. From the streets to the ballot box, and now to campaign fundraising, every Ugandan who believes in change can take part. As the popular slogan says: People Power, Our Power! NUP Everywhere! Let’s fuel this movement together.
