Shock in Entebbe as Elderly Couple Found Murdered in Suspected Robbery

Police in Entebbe are investigating a suspected case of aggravated robbery that led to the shocking death of an elderly couple in Lugonjo, Nakiwogo Cell, Kiwafu Ward, Division ‘A’ of Entebbe Municipality.

The victims have been identified as 69-year-old Mutaaga David and his wife, 62-year-old Mutaaga Deborah Florence. When officers arrived at the scene, they found both bodies inside the couple’s residence. Each of them had multiple stab wounds, suggesting a violent attack.

The police quickly secured the scene and began their investigation. They recorded statements from several key witnesses, including the informant, Golooba Ronald, the housemaid, Naudo Daphne, and several neighbors who were nearby when the incident is believed to have occurred.

Crime scene experts processed the area and collected evidence for forensic analysis to help identify those responsible for the brutal killings. The bodies were taken to Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
