President Yoweri Museveni expressed his delight after meeting His Eminence Emmanuel Wamala, praising him for his lifelong contributions to faith and social transformation in Uganda. During their meeting, President Museveni announced that the government will support Kamagwa Hospital, run by the Cardinal’s family foundation, while it continues to operate as a private facility.
In addition, the Ministry of Tourism will assist in establishing a museum dedicated to preserving Cardinal Wamala’s legacy. At the Cardinal’s request, President Museveni agreed to serve as Patron of the museum project.
Reflecting on the milestone, the President wished His Eminence good health and God’s blessings as he celebrates his 99th birthday. The collaboration highlights a commitment to honoring Uganda’s religious leaders and ensuring that their contributions continue to inspire future generations.
