In a strong show of support, NRM delegates from Kabale Municipality, Kabale District, Rukiga District, and Rubanda District gathered in Kabale to officially support Mr. Calvin Echodu for the role of NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda.
The meeting, which took place yesterday afternoon, was full of excitement, energy, and hope for the future of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). It was more than just a political event—it showed how much the delegates trust and believe in Mr. Echodu’s leadership.
Many delegates came to meet Mr. Echodu in person. They shared their thoughts, concerns, and dreams for the party. Mr. Echodu listened carefully and also spoke about his plans to bring new life into the NRM, while still respecting the party’s strong foundation.
“It was a great afternoon,” Mr. Echodu said. “People shared very good ideas, and the energy in the room proved that the NRM spirit is still strong in the Kigezi region.” He explained that his campaign is about building on the past while moving forward with fresh ideas and new strength.
This endorsement from the Kigezi region is an important step in Mr. Echodu’s journey. It shows that his support is growing across the country and that many people want fresh and active leadership in the NRM.
