Ngabirano Stephen, from Ryamasa in Kyangyenyi Subcounty, has declared that he will stand for Member of Parliament for Sheema North County in the 2026 elections.
Stephen is a young leader full of fresh ideas and energy. His campaign theme is “Hope, Dreams & Prosperity” because he wants to bring positive change and development to Sheema North.
When he announced his bid, Stephen said, “I am part of this community. I know the challenges you face, and I believe we can work together to make Sheema North better.” His goal is to give young people more chances to succeed and to speak for all people in Parliament.
Here are some of the things Stephen plans to do:
🌱 Support for Youth
He wants to start training programs so that young people can learn useful skills to get jobs or start businesses.
🏥 Better Health Services
Stephen promises to work hard so that health centers are improved and everyone can get good medical care, especially in rural areas.
🌾 Helping Farmers
He plans to help farmers find better markets so they can sell their crops at fair prices and improve their incomes.
🤝 Working with the Community
Stephen says he will listen to the people, involve them in decision-making, and work closely with local leaders to solve problems.
Stephen believes that being young is an advantage. “Uganda is a country of young people. We need leaders who understand the youth and can work for them,” he said. He is also part of the Patriotic League of Uganda, showing that he cares about serving with honesty and love for the country.
His announcement has excited many people, especially the youth, and his campaign is already getting a lot of support on social media.
Stephen’s message is clear: Sheema North can do better, and the time for change is now.
