Top Story!! Why Eastern Uganda’s Youth Should Support Mawerere Isaac Doka for MP

Must read

Many young people in Eastern Uganda are looking for hope, jobs, and strong leaders. Mawerere Isaac Doka wants to be that leader. He has picked up nomination forms to run for Youth Member of Parliament for Eastern Uganda. Mawerere is not just talking about change—he is ready to make it happen.

One reason many young people support him is because he understands their problems. He doesn’t sit far away and make promises. Instead, he listens to young people and wants to help. He knows how hard it is to find jobs, get a good education, and start a business. He also sees the need for better leadership. Mawerere has plans to solve these issues and the energy to get things done.

For him, politics is not just about power—it’s about helping people. He says, “This is not just about politics; it’s about purpose.” He has already shown leadership by encouraging young people to stay in school, learn new skills, and plan for their future. He also teaches values like honesty, hard work, and innovation—things Uganda needs right now.

His Background in School and Work

Mawerere grew up like many young Ugandans—he worked hard in school and in life. He started at Bupadhengo Primary School in Kamuli District, then went to Merryland High School in Entebbe for O-Level and Hilton High School in Mukono for A-Level. Later, he studied Community Psychology and Mental Health at Makerere University, one of Uganda’s top universities.

He is also a successful businessman. He is the Managing Director of Miles Funeral Services and runs a farm where he raises goats and cows and grows coffee. This shows that he believes farming can help young people find work.

Mawerere also worked for Uganda Railways as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director from 2022 to 2023. He left the job to follow his passion for helping others. In 2019, he wanted to run for Guild President at Makerere University, but the COVID-19 pandemic stopped that election. Still, his desire to lead never faded.

A Plan Made for the Youth

What makes Mawerere different from other candidates is that he has a clear and honest plan for young people. He wants to improve education, help young business people, create jobs, and support honest leaders. These are not just promises—this is his real plan.

He is also easy to relate to. Many young people see themselves in Mawerere. He understands their dreams, their struggles, and their needs. He talks to them in a way they understand, and they trust him.

Now that he is officially running, Mawerere is asking the youth of Eastern Uganda to join him. He believes that with strong leadership, young people can build a better future for Uganda. His message is clear: It’s time for the youth to lead.

If the young people of Eastern Uganda want someone who truly understands them and is ready to work for them, then Mawerere Isaac Doka is the right choice.
