U.S. Delegation Arrives in Uganda as Trump Representative Attends Swearing-In Ceremony

President Yoweri Museveni today received a senior United States official, Mr. Nick Checker, at State House Entebbe ahead of tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony. The meeting marked an important diplomatic engagement between Uganda and the United States.

Mr. Checker, who serves as a Senior Bureau Official in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs, is in Uganda as part of an official delegation attending the ceremony. He is representing former U.S. President Donald Trump at the event.
