With a heart overflowing with gratitude and patriotic pride, I, Hon. Princess Persis Namuganza, Bukono County MP-elect and aspirant for Speaker of the 12th Parliament, join the entire nation in offering you the warmest and most heartfelt congratulations.
The people of Uganda have once again spoken with one voice and reaffirmed their trust and confidence in your visionary leadership. This choice is not just a victory for you, Mzee, it is a resounding victory for stability, progress, and the continued transformation of our beloved motherland. We thank God for blessing Uganda with such dedicated and selfless leadership.
I thank you profoundly, Your Excellency, for all the good things your government has done and continues to do for our people, from restoring peace and security, to building infrastructure, expanding access to education and health services, empowering youth and women, modernising agriculture, and steadily lifting millions out of poverty. Your tireless service has changed the face of Uganda forever, and history will forever remember your immense contribution to the development of our nation.
As we begin this new term (2026–2031), I pray and humbly request that it be defined by an even stronger, more decisive focus on two critical pillars: the total eradication of corruption in all its forms, and the radical improvement of service delivery to every corner of our country. Let this be the term where we finally defeat the cancer of corruption and ensure that every Ugandan feels the tangible benefits of good governance.
Together, under your able leadership, we shall continue to build the Uganda of our dreams, a prosperous, disciplined, and corruption-free nation that honours the sacrifices of our liberators.
