12 Killed in Bugiri Road Accident
Twelve people have died on spot in a tragic road accident that has occured at Lwaba Village, Kapyanga Sub-county in Bugiri District along the Jinja–Malaba highway.
The crash involved involving a Toyota Hiace taxi (UBQ 772A) traveling from Kampala to Tororo and a trailer (KBM 175S) .
It’s alleged that a boda boda rider attempted to overtake the trailer, leading to a collision. The trailer’s container fell onto the taxi, killing nine instantly. Three others later died, while seven survivors were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
