Hon. Ngabirano Stephen, who is running to become the Member of Parliament for Sheema North, recently visited the people of Kakindo. His visit was part of his efforts to meet local residents, hear about their daily struggles, and share his plans for improving their lives.
The people of Kakindo welcomed him warmly and turned up in large numbers to meet him. They spoke openly about the many problems they face. These include the lack of clean water, no electricity, poor road conditions, and limited access to healthcare and education.
One of the biggest issues raised was the lack of clean and safe water. Many residents said they still fetch water from faraway streams, which is tiring and sometimes unsafe. Hon. Stephen listened carefully and promised to do everything he can to make sure every household in Kakindo gets clean water nearby.
Farmers also shared their challenges. They said they are not getting good prices for their coffee, making it hard for them to earn a decent living. Hon. Stephen said he will stand with the farmers. He plans to fight for better market opportunities, fair prices, and support for adding value to their products.
Healthcare was another serious concern. Residents talked about how difficult it is to reach clinics and hospitals, especially in emergencies. Hon. Stephen agreed that health services should not be hard to access. He promised to push for more health centers, better medical supplies, and trained staff to serve the people well.
What made this visit stand out was Hon. Stephen’s humble and caring approach. He did not come with loud speeches or empty promises. Instead, he came ready to listen and truly understand the people’s problems. He gave everyone his full attention and showed that he wants to work together with the community, not just speak for them.
Hon. Ngabirano Stephen believes that real change starts by listening to the people. He wants to be a leader who works closely with the community, not someone who makes decisions from far away. His visit to Kakindo proved that he is serious about helping and already taking action.
As the elections approach, the people of Sheema North are seeing a new kind of leader—one who listens, who cares, and who is already making a difference.
Vote Hon. Ngabirano Stephen – A Voice for the Forgotten, A Hand for the Struggling, A Leader for Real Change.
