The nation has been shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. Monica Nabukenya Kibalama, the wife of Johnbosco Kibalama, who has been missing for over six years. Monica was reportedly found dead in her bathroom, leaving her young children not only without a mother but also still searching for their father.
Since June 3rd, 2019, Monica and her children have been living in uncertainty, hoping to find Johnbosco after his abduction. Throughout the years, she courageously spoke out, demanding answers about her husband’s disappearance. She publicly challenged officials, including Robina Nabbanja, who reportedly confirmed that Johnbosco is in the custody of the regime.
Monica’s passing is deeply tragic, not only because of her untimely death but also because she never received the justice she tirelessly fought for. Her children now face the unimaginable pain of losing both parents—one missing and one gone. Her life was marked by resilience and the relentless pursuit of truth, leaving behind a legacy of courage for her family and the community that supported her.
