Police Hunt for More Suspects in Brutal Attack Case

Must read

Police in Katwe have arrested three suspects believed to be involved in a disturbing incident that has been widely shared on social media. The video shows a group of men climbing over a perimeter fence before violently attacking an individual inside the compound. The footage has caused public concern, raising questions about safety and the growing cases of gang-related violence in the area.

The arrests were made during a carefully planned intelligence-led operation targeting criminal gangs operating within Makindye Division. Authorities identified the suspects as Sali Ethan, also known by the alias “Unruly,” along with Sali Isaac and Sejongo Isaac. Police believe the suspects are part of a larger group, and efforts are still ongoing to track down and arrest others connected to the attack.

Despite the viral nature of the video, the identity and current whereabouts of the victim remain unknown. Police have made a public appeal, urging the victim or anyone with helpful information to come forward and report to the nearest police station. This, they say, is important to ensure justice is served and to help with the ongoing investigations.

Law enforcement officials have also issued a strong warning to the public against engaging in mob justice or any form of lawlessness. They emphasized that taking the law into one’s own hands only worsens the situation and can lead to further violence. Instead, citizens are encouraged to cooperate with authorities and report suspicious activities through proper channels.

As investigations continue, the police have promised to keep the public informed with any new developments. This case highlights the importance of community vigilance and the role of security agencies in maintaining order and protecting lives.
