Bulambuli County MP-Elect Hon. Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu has reaffirmed his commitment to improving service delivery and promoting people-centered leadership during a Thanksgiving Ceremony attended by fellow Members of Parliament, local leaders, friends and supporters.
The ceremony provided an opportunity for Hon. Biara to appreciate the people of Bulambuli for their trust and support while outlining his vision for a leadership approach built on unity, accountability and development.
During the event, Hon. Biara praised his colleagues in the 12th Parliament for standing with him and the people of Bulambuli. He expressed special appreciation for their contribution of UGX 20 million towards improving Muyembe Health Centre IV, saying the support will help strengthen healthcare services in the area.
He described the contribution as a reflection of leaders working together to respond to the needs of communities and create a lasting impact beyond political positions.
Hon. Biara said quality healthcare remains a critical priority for his leadership, noting that improved health facilities are important in ensuring residents receive better and more reliable services.
He pledged to promote a leadership style anchored on integrity, transparency and accountability, adding that his focus will be on initiatives that directly improve the lives of the people he represents.
The MP-Elect also commended the spirit of unity demonstrated by members of the 12th Parliament, saying collaboration among leaders is essential in addressing challenges facing Ugandan communities.
He called for continued cooperation among political leaders and stakeholders, emphasizing that development can only be achieved when leaders work together with a shared commitment to serving citizens.
Hon. Biara expressed confidence that through collective efforts, Bulambuli can achieve significant progress in healthcare, infrastructure and other key sectors.
