The Commander of Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) North Region, Emitu Ezekiel Ebapu, has called on police officers to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to fighting crime while strengthening their relationship with the communities they serve.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), Emitu revealed that he had held a meeting with officers from the KMP North Region, where he commended them for their dedication and efforts in maintaining security and public safety. He praised the officers for their hard work but reminded them that the challenges ahead require even greater commitment and teamwork.
According to Emitu, officers must remain focused on their responsibilities and continue improving the quality of services offered to the public. He urged them to work together as one team and ensure that the trust placed in them by citizens is protected through professional conduct and effective policing.
The police commander also emphasized the importance of intelligence-led operations aimed at disrupting criminal activities before they occur. He encouraged officers to continue targeting criminal elements while ensuring that all law enforcement activities are carried out within the law and with respect for the rights of suspects.
